About Us

Welcome to The Glass Post, an online literary magazine dedicated to showcasing raw, heartfelt storytelling in all its forms. Here, we celebrate prose, poetry, and creative letters—writing that captures the essence of human experience, whether grounded in reality, shaped by dreams, or driven by desire.

We believe that storytelling is limitless. A poem can reflect a fleeting moment or an entire lifetime. A short story can be a glimpse into the mundane or an exploration of the extraordinary. Writing should be a space where emotions—joy, sorrow, longing, hope—can be expressed in whatever way feels right to the writer.

One of our most cherished aspects is the letters section. We invite writers to craft poetic, creative letters—letters to a passed family member, a friend you love, an ex, a partner, a could-have-been, an enemy, your dog, whatever! These letters serve as a bridge between what was, what is, and what could have been, offering a unique, deeply personal form of storytelling.

At The Glass Post, we embrace writing that is moving and unfiltered. Whether you want to capture the beauty of everyday life, imagination, explore your deepest emotions, or share a piece of your heart through a letter, this is the space to do so. Welcome to The Glass Post. We're happy to have you.

Meet The Founder

Hello Little Letters, I'm Kay.

Writing has been at the core of who I am since I was 11, scribbling stories and poetry into my notebooks instead of paying attention in class. When I had no where else to put my feelings, no one else to tell my thoughts, the pen and the paper were there, ready to make something with them.

I started The Glass Post for a couple reasons. I love poetry, first and foremost. I've always thought it was the most efficient and effective way to put complex imagery and feelings into words. Naturally, I wanted to create a space where poeticism held the spotlight. With poetry, prose, and letters as weapons of choice, The Glass Post became the vision for a battleground where writers could not only wrestle with their deeper emotions, but make peace with them in an artful way.

Beyond the page, I find inspiration in nature, whether I’m hiking through quiet trails, foraging for wild herbs, or exploring the world of holistic medicine. I love learning, questioning, and pushing creative boundaries. My passion for authentic expression has led me to publish You're Ready to Hear This Now, which was featured in the Colorado Springs Gazette and became the top-selling book in the Tattered Cover Local Author Program.
